Foot and Mouth affects Rodley Nature Reserve

In line with most other nature reserves, Rodley is currently closed to the casual visitor until further notice. Yorkshire Water are still using their part of the site as normal and the local farmer still uses the access road to his fields. Rodley Nature Reserve Trust will take advice from these two expert sources as regards any further precautions that may be necessary.

Come on down

Despite being “mostly” closed we will be having volunteer workdays on the reserve. So why not come and help out on the 6^th of May and 3^rd of June with putting up reserve signs, willow screening around the hides plus installing gates. Details from Tim Page on 0113 2627547.

The volunteers group now has regular meetings at Farsley Library, (Old Road, Farsley, LS28) at 7:30pm on the last Thursday of the month.
