Book Sale

The International committee had been collecting books for weeks and over 1200 were up for sale at St. James Church Hall in Pudsey.  Some of the books donated were near collectors items and fetched a good price, during and after the sale.

Hundreds of hardbacks and paperbacks were snapped up and a brisk trade continued for the allocated two hours.

 

Our picture shows International Chairman David Sutcliffe with his team and helpers. He was very happy with the resulting £400.00 profit which will go to overseas charities.
