“It Happened in Manhatten ‘appen” was the opening drama in
an evening of Murder and Mystery, organised by the International Committee
and presented at Farsley Church Hall. Chairman John Walker, has subsequently
reported a profit of almost £500 for Hope and Homes for Children and other
overseas charities. He rightly praised the writing talents of Keith
Thompson, whose witty prose and stamina in fronting the presentations,
played a huge part in the enjoyment of the event.
